Taking a break
May 2026.
Hello,
I know I’ve been a little quiet on here over the past couple of months, so I wanted to check in and share where things are at.
Right now, I’m taking a step back from my business for a little while. After such a big Christmas and January, I found myself quite burnt out, and it made me realise I need to find a better balance between work and family life.
My heart has always been in capturing memories for families, but in taking on too much without the right systems in place, I’ve come to realise I’ve been missing some of those special, everyday moments with my own family.
So I’m using this time to be present with them, while also learning how to work smarter, streamline my editing, and create a more sustainable workflow.
If any family photographers have found a rhythm between family life and business, I would truly love to connect and learn from you.
This is my last year with Ava before school begins, and I only get her this little once, so I’m soaking up all the cuddles, the moments, and the magic while she still believes in mummy’s kisses fixing everything.
I will still be taking on the occasional session for returning clients and will, of course, honour any gift vouchers, so please reach out to me.
Thank you for trusting me to capture your memories.
Christmas is still undecided, but after five big years, I’m leaning towards a slower, more present season with my family, while also connecting with and learning from other family Christmas photographers, where I can assist and learn. For now, I’m stepping on the other side of the camera and soaking up moments of my own. I'm still here, thank you for all your continuous support.

this time with your kids and family is so important
lets create memories together
Family photography is a truly unique and special experience. From behind the lens, I am privileged to capture the love, connection, and joy that you share with your family. The joy of holding your children in your arms, lifting them high, tickling their little tummies, and seeing them smile and giggle is what I cherish most about my work as a photographer.
